In order to market the flagship Presto brand across a dozen Asian countries,
Nike and Wieden+Kennedy/Tokyo sought a unique visual identity
that did not depend heavily on written or spoken language.
To achieve Nike’s objectives, the live-action design company Motion Theory in Los Angels
produced and directed live-action shoots in Tokyo, Shanghai, and Los Angeles,
The resulting art included organic forms, abstract patterns, and distinctive characters.
“Layers”, depicts the essence of the collaborative creative process between artists.
